Raingutter Regatta

Ahoy, mates! This could be the sailing regatta of the century! Although the seas are only 10-foot lengths of rain gutter filled with water, and the ships are a mere 6 inches long, the race is an exciting event. Each child builds their own boat (provided for the kids at the expo), with supervision and help from parents or other family members. He also provides the wind for the sail with his own lung power. The race will involve two lanes of “rain gutters”. The children are to blow air on the boats in order to advance them through the water. Hands are only to be used to upright a turned over ship, and are not to be used to advance the boat. In addition, children should not use their faces, lips, hats, nose or other bodily parts to move the boat – just the air in their lungs!

Minnow Races Now here is the event that everyone can play! The tracks will be set and the minnows waiting to swim their fins off. Contestants will be able to pick their minnow – and race to the finish with straws in hand and crowds going wild.

Promoting the safe enjoyment of shooting sports.

Located on north side of Highway 28 West approximately 2 miles west of Owensville, MO city limits. We are affiliated with the National Rifle Association (NRA), Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). and Missouri Sport Shooting Association (MSSA). We are also a strong supporter of the Gasconade County 4H Shooting Sports Program.

Facilities: Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, 100 Yard Rimfire and Pistol Range, and 25-550 Yard Rifle Range.
